7 of Cups

The character is half clothed in loose, draping red fabric (relaxing from the grip of power/ ego), they have gone through a change or challenge and are now learning to discern illusion from reality.

They rest gazing at the imagined cups in the water, but at the same time their footing has hold on the ground, their leg pressed against their one real cup. There is still a connection to their roots/ their worth…they would come into alignment if they would only shift from daydreaming to practical thinking.

So many ‘opportunities’ (mirage of cups in the water) actually pull us away from our truth/ dharma (the one real cup next to the character).

Message:

For today’s 7 of Cups message here is a wonderful prayer I heard spiritual teacher Matt Kahn offer:

“Hey Universe/ the Divine/ God/ my Higher Self, show me the option that is most aligned in 100% of my highest ethics and integrity.”

When you’re making a choice, ask ‘Who’s will am I serving?’ Choose from alignment w/ that.

In general/ in life choose from alignment, not opportunity.

7’s are all about deepening our self-awareness and understanding, and making progress not so much in the outer world, but within ourselves and our character.
